Tennis League
The Tennis League will start July 16th! Its a great way to meet people and play tennis!
The Flesichmanns tennis league is a great way to meet new people and play some great tennis. Every week you will be paired up with a new partner
and put you up against suitably skilled opponents. Singles will also be available depending upon the level of demand. We will cap off with the end of the season barbecue with our own award and trophy presentation.
Rules:
-All Matches must be completed prior to next weeks scheduled matches.
-League matches are scheduled for Thursdays at 10AM and 6PM at the Fleischmanns tennis courts.
-However players are free to play their matches any time at any court based on mutual consent. Note that all results must be reported by Tuesday evening prior to next weeks scheduled matches.
-All full league members will be entitled to 10 scheduled matches of which the best 8 results will be taken at season end to determine final placings.
-At the conclusion of the season the top 8 point getters will be paired in inverse order of their seatings to form doubles teams. (example #1 seed and #8 seed will form a team, as will #2 seed and #7 seed)
-Point ties will be broken by the player who was allowed fewest games over the course of the season.
-These four doubles teams will play a semi-final with the 2 finalists to play a final at the Tennis Everyone home court at the same time as the end of the league barbecue.
-The league champions will receive$150 ($75 each) and runners up will receive $50 ($25 each).
-Best of 3 sets- thrid set is 10 point tie break
Straight set win – 3 pts
Split set win – 2 points
Split set loss – 1 point
Price:
$75 for entire season, or $10 per match
